Monika Kmita is a Polish director and visual storyteller known for her emotionally driven and highly aesthetic approach to filmmaking.
Beginning her creative career in photography before transitioning into directing, she developed a distinctive visual language centered around authentic contemporary storytelling, strong feminine sensitivity, and striking cinematic imagery.
Her work spans commercials, fashion films, music videos, and narrative projects, collaborating with artists, actors, and public figures including Anja Rubik and Ralph Kamiński.
Passionate about social themes and human-centered narratives, Monika also develops personal short-film projects that blend realism with poetic visual storytelling.
Her ability to combine commercial precision with emotional authenticity has established her as one of the most recognisable contemporary directors in Poland.
In 2024, she was awarded the title of Director of the Year by Media Marketing Polska.
