Andrea Bastoni is a freelance photographer born and based in Modena, Italy.
His interest in photography has begun when he was a little boy, the day he found his father’s old Petri film camera. Thanks to his father’s gear he had fun with film cameras for a while, then got his camera, the first lenses, and started to get deep in classic and modern techniques, and to pay attention to new technologies.
Everything changed the day he started working in a creative agency and his boss said: “Come on, I want you to do some pictures for us, I know you can do it well”.
In the years that followed he had the privilege to work with some of the best photographers from all over the world and many talents coming from art, sport, and fashion, as a photographer, assistant, or retoucher.
Today as a freelancer he shoots commercial, fashion, sport, portraits, and still life images.
