He was still very young when his parents moved to France. Nothing came easily, but the taste for freedom fuelled his spirit.
A libertarian opportunist, he seized every chance before it even appeared. Robert became a model and discovered the world. Yet he was already more fascinated by what happened behind the scenes, preferring to talk about lenses and lighting rather than fashion shows.
He taught himself photography and quickly began to stand out. He took the leap. Instinctive and creative, he never hesitated to follow his intuition, beyond the rules and dogmas of the profession. Very soon, he was photographing the greatest names for the world’s leading international magazines.
