Zena Holloway is a British underwater photographer, film director, and bio-designer best known for her dreamlike underwater imagery featuring people, animals, and surreal aquatic environments.
Born in Bahrain and raised in London, she began diving as a teenager and later worked as a scuba instructor in Egypt and the Cayman Islands, where she discovered underwater photography and taught herself the craft.
Her work combines technical underwater expertise with a highly artistic visual language defined by fluid movement, soft light, and ethereal compositions.
Over the years, she has photographed Olympians, musicians, celebrities, newborn babies, and indigenous communities, while creating campaigns for brands.
Her imagery has appeared in publications such as National Geographic, GQ, The Sunday Times, and Discovery Channel productions.
